UNIPAK ISO Re-Certification
Certifying body, Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance, conducted the 2-day audit at UNIPAK plant in Halat Lebanon on 4 and 5 December 2012. Auditors, Salah Aiesh and Murad Zaatreh verified that UNIPAK quality management systems comply with ISO 9001:2008 requirements for design, manufacture, sale, and marketing of corrugated boxes.
In line with ISO 9001:2008 requirements, UNIPAK aligns business objectives and processes, and tracks output and productivity to improve plant operations and enhance product delivery and customer satisfaction.
UNIPAK HACCP & FEFCO Re-Certification
By achieving FEFCO GMP re-certification and passing HACCP surveillance visit, UNIPAK assures customers in the food industry hazard-free and food-safe corrugated packaging. The renewal audit evaluates management systems, operations, and the plant facility to ensure that UNIPAK complies to food industry hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
The three-day surveillance audit by TUV Nord took place from 18 – 20 February. TUV Nord Auditor, Syed Zishaan Ali Qadri, evaluated potential hazards or sources of contamination, analyzed chemical, biological, and physical hazards, and found UNIPAK to meet requirements for food safety management systems.
