UNIPAK, Lebanese corrugated packaging manufacturer, passes Hazard Analysis and Critical Points (HACCP) surveillance audit and attains FEFCO Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) re-certification.

Syed Zishaan Ali Qadri, TUV Nord Lead Auditor, conducted the HACCP and FEFCO GMP re-audits from 24 – 26 February 2014 at UNIPAK plant in Halat, Lebanon. The annual HACCP surveillance audit re-evaluated UNIPAK corrugated packaging food safety by identifying potential chemical, biological, and physical hazards and putting forward actions to eliminate risks throughout the production process and supply chain. The FEFCO GMP recertification audit reviewed UNIPAK management systems, operations, and facility to certify that corrugated packaging products meet hygiene, safety, and quality standards in the food industry.
UNIPAK produces a wide array of corrugated packaging and displays for direct and indirect food contact, including: corrugated bulk bins, containers, counter stand displays, edge protectors, floor stand displays, hanging display boxes, industrial trays, multifunctional carrier, promotional boxes, and shelf ready packaging (SRP).
